As a Federal Benefits Specialist with Voluntary Employee Benefits Systems (VEBS), Stephan is an experienced and dynamic presenter of retirement seminars for federal employees and an expert in the Federal Employee Retirement and Benefit Programs.

Stephan has over 33 years of private sector experience in financial services to draw from and has spent the past decade counseling federal civil service employees in the area of retirement benefits. His focus is on the maximization of federal benefits and addressing the financial and retirement needs of every federal civil service employee that he meets.

Stephan has helped countless federal employees (and their spouses!) to better understand and maximize their federal benefits through retirement classes, individual consultations and creating a customized Benefits Report specific to each employee.
Stephan grew up on Cape Cod and is a Colby College alumnus. He lives in Madison, CT with his wife and two sons. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Madison Chapter of the Jaycees, helping to raise $100,000 annually for local schools, charities and families in need. He is a voracious reader, enjoys coaching basketball, weight training, being a weekend lumberjack and fishing the waters of Long Island Sound.
